Allen Engineering has a passion for helping our local community. When he learned of the school closings in our area due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Will Gambill (AEC Marketing Manager) immediately thought of the children affected by the school closings.

AEC has historically donated time and money to Paragould Area Schools Backpack Food Program that benefits children who often question where they might get their next meal. Many children in our community rely on the meals in backpacks provided at their schools. So, with the schools closed, there was a genuine concern that many children would lose access to food they needed to survive and thrive.

In one week, AEC Associates, Customers, and Friends raised $1,500 to support the Paragould Area Schools Backpack Food Program to provide meals to students in need. This was accomplished through selling new and really cool Allen branded hats, both online to our social media friends / followers and locally to our AEC Associates. We are very proud of where we come from and how our community has come together during this time.
