1964

Allen-Hardin Redi-Mix established in Piggott, AR. This company became Allen Engineering Corporation

1968

Bought Allen-Hickson Ready-Mix Plant in Paragould, AR - same location as Allen Mfg. Plant now stands

1970 Began Con Pumping
1970

Began concrete pumping operation

1974

Sold all ready-mix and sand/gravel operations in Northeast Arkansas.

Dewayne Allen and family moved to Houston, TX. Introduced to screeds

Moved back to Paragould, AR - began manufacturing Screed, Fine Graders and Spreaders

First World of Concrete Exhibit. Have exhibited in every WOC since. Name changed to Allen Engineering Corporation

AEC dedicated its south building in honor of its founder, J. Dewayne Allen.

AEC picked up exclusive distribution of the new Electric Magic Screed® (E-Screed) within the United States.

Jay Allen, son of late founder J. Dewayne Allen, is announced as Chief Executive Officer of AEC.
