Allen Engineering Corporation (AEC) recently dedicated and opened its new 34,000 square foot (s.f.) Distribution Center (DC) and 4,500 s.f. Training Facility at its factory and headquarters.

This brand new distribution facility combines three separate warehouse locations into one. The facility also includes new offices for AEC Logistics, Product Support, and Quality Management. The Distribution Center (which is adjacent to the AEC Factory) contains finished goods warehousing, service parts warehousing, product packaging, and shipping operations in one self-contained building.

The brand new training and meeting facility was designed to host 100 plus people at one time. It includes three separate meetings areas plus full-service employee break area. The training facility is fully ADA compliant with elevator access to the Mezzanine.

With the addition of the Distribution Center, AEC’s manufacturing and warehouse space now totals 173K s.f. and its office and training space now totals 18K s.f. With space made available by moving finished goods into the new D.C., the company will experience improved material flow, increased labor utilization, and higher efficiency.
